2005-06 Season: Redshirted

Prep Career: Was originally a redshirt freshman at Wayne State in Detroit, Michigan in 2003-04...he is a 2003 graduate of Harper Woods Notre Dame High School...he was a three year letter winner that averaged six points and six rebounds his junior season...as a senior, he averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds as well as three blocks a game...was selected as a member of the Second Team All-East and was voted as an Honorable Mention All-Metro...scored 17 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots in the district championship against Warren Woods...scored 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots against South Lake...scored 15 points in the 2002 "Blue Chip" camp All Star game...was named to the Honor Roll at Harper Woods Notre Dame high school.

Personal: Marvin was born Marvin Douglas Listenbee in Clinton Township, Michigan...he is the son of Marvin Sr., and Barbara Listenbee...has two sisters, Brandi and Tiffani...his father played at Loraine Junior College...his sister Tiffani, is a former player at Wake Forest University from 1999-2003 and was an assistant coach here at Kennesaw State for the women's basketball team for the 2004-05 season...Marvin is majoring in Sports Management.
