Mitchell played in 11 games for the Texas Tech Red Raiders and coach Bobby Knight...scored his first points for the Red Raiders against No. 17-ranked Marquette (11/20/06)...had a season-high three rebounds against Centennary (12/9/06)...scored two points and grabbed three rebounds against Missouri (1/27/07)...scored two points in three minutes against No. 6-ranked Texas A&M (2/13/07)...shot 60.0 percent from the field...

2005-06 Season (Gulf Coast CC)
Enjoyed a solid rookie season...shot 58.0 percent from the floor while averaging 13 points per game, 10 rebounds per game and four assists.

Prep Career
Mitchell was a first team All-State selection in his senior year at LaGrange High School where he enjoyed a successful career...averaged 24 points and 13 rebounds per game during his stellar senior season at LaGrange.
