After cracking the lineup in the Owls first spring event, Nagy participated in KSU's final six tournaments and earned himself an Atlantic Sun Conference All Freshman Team selection...He posted four top 20 and two top 10 finishes, led by an impressive tie for seventh at the A-Sun Conference Championship where he fired a five-over par 218...Finished tied for eighth at the spring-opening Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate in his first collegiate event...Recorded a career-low 70 in the final round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic...Carded the team's lowest round four different times, including a 71 in the first round of the Larry Nelson to give the Owls the early lead...Had the fourth-lowest scoring average among freshman in the conference at 73.9...Finished the season with a 320-127 win/loss record.

Nagy came to the Owls' program after excelling at the junior level...Won the 2007 Callaway Golf PGA Junior Series event at the Georgia Colf Course in Athens, Ga. after shooting a final round low 74...Posted three runner-up finishes in 2006, including the Georgia Westfield PGA Junior Section Championship, the Georgia Big-I State Championship and the GSGA Junior Championship...Was a member of the Georgia Team in the 2006 Georgia-South Carolina Challenge and finished 17th at the Big-I Junior Classic National Finals...Is currently in the lead for the Georgia Junior Player of the Year award...Is ranked 118th in his class and 198th overall by the NJGS.
