2008 Season
Set a new KSU outdoor 800m dash record and personal best time at LSU, placing second with a time of 1:51.81... was named Atlantic Sun Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week on May 14... placed first in the 800m dash at the Outdoor Conference Championships with a time of 1:52.90

Prep Career
Gianni came to Kennesaw State after a successful career at Amherst Steele High School in Amherst, Oh...in 2007 placed second for the 800m at the Ohio State Championships with a time of 1:53.86...his squad gained their third conference championship.

Was born Gianni Paolo Catalano in Amherst, Ohio...is the son of Bruno and Carol Catalano...he has two older brothers Bruno (22) and Peter (21)...also played basketball and football during high school.
