Cross Country Heads To Disney
Oct. 9, 2008
KENNESAW, Ga. - After setting some impressive times at the competitive Auburn Invitational last weekend, the men's and women's cross country teams at Kennesaw State will be heading to Orlando, Fla., to compete in the Walt Disney Classic on Saturday, October 11. "For the men, it will be the last 8k tune-up before the conference championship," head coach Stan Sims said. "It's a flat, fast course and we are looking to better our times from last weekend. "We have been continually improving all season, and we expect to see the same this weekend." The women's race is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. with the men to follow. Following this weekends meet, the Owls will head to Chattanooga to compete in one final race, before heading to Macon, Ga., for the conference championships on November 1. |
