Entering into his third season assistant coach Mike Goss has become one of the cornerstones the Kennesaw State track & field program. A true fan of Olympic sports Goss has spent years perfecting his coaching methods for all field events. Whether it's the hammer throw or the triple jump Goss has spent hours studying video and pouring over research to improve his coaching skills. He is a true players coach as he has developed strong relationship with all of his athletes. As an instructor in all things track & field he is determined to see all of his athletes throw the extra foot or jump a few a more inches.

Always devoted to physical education Goss obtain his undergraduate degree in the subject from the University of Montevallo, Alabama. He later gained a Masters degree in HPER from Georgia State University. Since then he has coached in Cobb County Public schools.

Goss holds numerous coaching certificates including: a Level II USA track & field certification for jumps, throws and combined events, a Strength and Conditioning Certification, and a USA Club Level Weightlifting Certification.
