2008 Season
During the indoor season, Stinson broke school indoor record and set personal record in the 60m High Hurdles at the Niswonger Invitational (January 19, 2008) with a time of 9.22s... set personal record in the 60m race with a time of 8.16s... broke school record in 55m High Hurdles at the University of Florida (Jan 26, 2008) with a time of 8.74s... During the outdoor season, she broke school record and set personal record in the 100m HH at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship (May 18, 2008) with a time of 14.57s... set personal record in the 400m Intermediate hurdles at the A-Sun conference championship with a time of 1:06.14

2007 Season
Competed as a hurdler in her first season with the Owls...at the 2007 A-Sun Indoor Conference Championship posted a time of 9.50 in the 60m hurdle preliminaries...at the 2007 A-Sun Outdoor Championship posted a time of 15.55 in the 100m hurdle preliminaries.

Prep Career
Lakeshia comes to KSU after a successful prep career at Liberty County HS...2006 Region 3AAA Champions in the 300m hurdles and 4x400m relay..selected MVP during her senior year...competed at Nationals in 2005 and 2004.

Was born Lakeshia J. Stinson in Monterey, Calinfornia...is the daughter of Douglas and Lucretia Stinson...has one brother Demetrius (1)...Lakeshia is majoring in Mathematics with a teacher's certification.
